You have one minute to think about what you're going to say and make notes. Then speak for one to two minutes. The examiner will not interrupt you.
Describe a skill you have learned that you found useful.
You should say:
- what the skill is
- how and when you learned it
- how long it took you to learn
and explain why you found this skill useful.

Self-check before you finish
- Did you speak for close to the full two minutes, without long pauses or drying up?
- Did you cover all the bullet points on the cue card, in a natural order — not a memorised list?
- Did you use a range of vocabulary, including some less common or idiomatic language, not just simple everyday words?
- Did you vary your sentence structures rather than repeating the same simple pattern?
- Could a listener follow you clearly, with natural stress and intonation, without needing to concentrate hard?
- Did you keep going even if you made a mistake or lost a word, rather than stopping to fix it or restarting?
